Tina Wells Lee, CFP®
Owner, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner
I am the founder of the independent firm Tina Wells Lee & Associates in Stockton. I began my financial services career over 27 years ago as an advisor with A. G. Edwards & Sons. Prior to the financial services field, I served as the Director of Provider Relations for a local managed care organization.
After gaining ten years of experience as a financial advisor, I fulfilled one of my goals and earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ Practitioner designation in 2007. Besides holding FINRA Series 7, 63 and 6 licenses with LPL Financial, I also have a California Department of Insurance license so that I can research life, disability and long-term care solutions for my clients.
Currently, my practice involves providing comprehensive financial planning for individuals and couples with an emphasis on retirement. One of the strategies I employ applies the science of money. Simply, the strategy segregates assets into time segments to produce needed income.
One of my passions is working with women who experience what I call, “The 3 D’s: Death, Divorce or Disability.” Often, I have encountered women who have suffered one of these events. As imagined, these events are not planned and create a crisis. To compound the stress, in many cases, women often have no idea what they own and what to do. I have also participated in divorce settlement analysis.
I am a native of Oregon and have lived in Stockton for years. My husband and I have one son who is married. Our family also includes a menagerie of rescued dogs.
My other affiliations include membership in the Women’s Executive Club, Central Valley Asian American Chamber of Commerce and a member of the group Citizens United Against Decay, and Treasurer of the Children’s Museum in Stockton. I am the immediate past Board President of the Miracle Mile Community Improvement District. Prior to holding this office, I served as the Board Treasurer.
